I have been meditating and praying on our work as Attunement practitioners. What stands out to me is the wonder of the Attunement process and it’s ease of bringing the energy of Love into the world. I was taught and always referred to this as “opening the window of heaven”. This is a natural and familiar extension of Being freely available to everyone. The pure current of life coming “all the way through” and filling the momentary experience with the heart of Love and kindness is truly humbling. I recently attended my future son-in-law’s graduation and the commencement ceremony of
« Originally published March 2015 » The paradigm of what is required for healing to occur is gradually shifting. As Attunement Practitioners we have had years of training and exposure to the process through which the power of Love can have its greatest influence. There are others who are aware of this way of thinking and they are sharing their life experience and asking others to join them. I invite you to watch or listen to the video of a “Ted Talk” by Lissa Rankin, MD related to the following questions. Is there scientific proof that we can heal ourselves?
« Originally published October 2015 » A simple truth that relates to everyone on this planet is that we are all devoted to something. The current of energy we identify as devotion is revealed through daily thoughts, words and actions.Devotion: Noun. Love, loyalty or enthusiasm to a person, activity or cause. Synonyms: dedication, allegiance, commitment. From the deeply personal, tender, quiet connection with the invisible to a strong, outward declaration, grounded in absolute conviction to just about anything, devotion is part of our every breath. Recently the question of devotion has occupied the hearts and minds of people the world
« Originally published December 2017 » As Attunement Practitioners we recognize that the world is parched of clear direction. There is a longing in people everywhere for there to be genuine leadership. The inner compass in those who lead, for the most part, is broken. The art of guidance at the highest levels of religion, government and social/economic structure is confused and lost. What I would describe as “wise mentorship” is missing. So-called leaders have no reference point for themselves so that they can assist those who they are responsible to in creating and coordinating a world founded in loving
« Originally published May 2016 » The beginning flow of radiance opens as we love ourselves. From the birth of self-kindness comes compassion for everyone and everything in our field of service. In some languages, to experience birth means “to give to the light.” Self-kindness is the doorway to seeing one’s personal legacy. The unique, interesting, fun expression of each one’s part in the tapestry of life is utterly priceless. This beautiful passage from the writings of Matt Licata speaks to this wisdom. “By no longer abandoning ourselves as we had to do at an earlier time and place, wemake a vow of self-kindness. We commit to calling all of the orphaned children home, back into
I have been meditating and praying on the nature of innocence of late. This is part of the very fiber of the Attunement way of life. I cannot share in the Attunement current, the life force of the all that is, unless I am in the place of innocence. Don Henley, the lead singer and drummer of the renowned singing group The Eagles wrote a song in 1989 entitled “The End Of The Innocence”. He wrote about the poisoning of this priceless range of the healing power by corruption, manipulation, violence and the misuse of authority. He describes it this
Arising from my personal theme of self kindness this year are meditations on “The Grandmother Spirit”. The deepest experience of comfort that I have ever known came from being in the presence of my grandmothers – one in particular. As unique as this consideration may be, it is timely and is needed everywhere, most especially in the the forefront of leadership in the world in which we live. As I continued to let this feeling be a frequent part of my daily thoughts and memories, revisiting that wonderful place of joy, tenderness and utter tranquility, I had a dream one
We live in a time where most food sources are corrupt and manipulated. Some people struggle to know what is the best nourishment for their bodies and question the availability of wholesome sources of meat, vegetables, etc. Poor choices of “comfort food/junk food” are made and too large a quantity is consumed at one time. This overloads the digestive system and suppresses natural body functions. Whether the body is blessed or cursed is consequent upon what food is chosen. Dead, “empty calories”, containing no nutrients create inflammation and disease. Live, whole foods with known and unknown “synergistic” nutrients bless the
Each year I establish a theme of inner direction and focus for my personal current of Attunement. I have shared my thoughts with some of you through our teleconferences and individual conversations that my theme for 2014 was “the heart within the heart.” Each month insight and experiences gathered around that larger influence of radiation. For instance, December 2014 was honoring everyone who, and everything that, crossed my path, extending a blessing of appreciation. For 2015 my theme is “living from the sanctuary of my devotion.” To me sanctuary is a sacred field of energy where the prayer of my
